Knight Tournament

There are four different Sword Fighting Tournaments.

The first tournament is Longsword.

The second tournament is Sword & Shield (Heater or Round Shield)

The third tournament is Single Sword

The last tournament is a mix weapons tournament consisting of:

• Sword & Buckler
• Sword & Dagger
• Single Sword
• Longsword
• Sword & Shield (Heater OR Round)
• Two Swords

Tournament Rules:

3 Judges will score each fight

Using Blades of Glory Scoring System:

1 point for a successful hit every time you hit your opponent with a solid strike with the edge of the weapon on: the head, torso, arm (above the elbow), leg (above the knee)

Plus Technical/Skill Point

& Showmanship/Style Point

Each fight will be 1 minute in length

Round Robin System for Each of the Weapon Styles

Playoff Round for Final 4 Fighters for each Weapon Style

Mixed Weapons Tournament

Where each sword fighter can only use each weapon style once throughout the tournament.

During the Finals, there will be 3 rounds.  Each sword fighter will choose 3 weapons styles (each different) and use a different weapon style for each round of the match.
